Vitamin supplement to treat hair loss: Zinc

I have white spots on my nails and I think we are deficient in zinc?
They do not just drink milk or a really good diet. a lot of pple me aneorxic call. I'm guessing i should eat more fruits and milk, but I'm not sure how. I am 13yrs old if that helps.how do I get rid of white spots? I'm not so skinny. i weigh 108 pounds
