Drawing from nature
Drawing from nature
Many people believe strongly that there is a population of elite people who have some type of skill uncontrollable. They believe that these people can do things that they themselves can not do, and are able to do those things because of raw talent they were born.
People who thinks this can not be removed. Are you one of those people? Or you can get, but for some reason I think is natural talent?
I'm here to tell it is not.
People can draw or can not be removed because of one thing. Practice. Those who can draw like da Vinci, or repeat a bunch of grapes and a bottle wine on canvas an inch of the grape said life can do so because they have practiced it from an early age.
Think about that person in school. Who I have vague memories of them, sitting quietly in the corner of the library and drawing his lunch hour away.
Or the cool dude he scribbled on his books Instead of listening.
Or the girl who always had a 'How to draw this "or" How to draw "on your desktop. And sometimes you can borrow, but always felt he was better.
It was probably better. But not because the artistic ability runs in her family since the early 18th century.
The reason that these gifted "artists can do what they do, it is due to the practice. I can draw because I spend much time drawing.
You can read fast, because you spend so much time reading. Or are you an amazing climber, because every time you will find spare time in the gym climbing over hard wall.
The old saying goes, practice makes perfect. That's right.
So now you're probably thinking, if everything practical needs is why I can not learn? My answer to that is that you probably can. However, it requires practice, you have to be compromised.
There is a style of drawing that could learn by doing to much. He does have a significant change in the way of seeing things, however.
That is the picture of life. Most of you probably have tried this at one time or another in his life. If it was in art class in elementary school or a recent attempt by one of their children, said, "Draw me!"
Anyway, if you're inexperienced in the preparation, the result was probably the same. A childlike image and a new blow to his ego drawing.
But look at one of those images. Really look at it objectively, and try to see what the problem is. It should be obvious, as soon as I say.
His drawing is what you think you should be seeing, not what was actually seeing.
So in other words, if you drew a hand, were drawn up five fingers on its real length. But in reality could not have been able to see the five fingers. And some of the fingers that could see may have been foreshortened.
A draw from life should be able to draw what you see and not what you think is there. A good way to think this is a picture of a train.
The train you are drawing is coming toward you. The train has 18 cars. You know, but really the only cars you can see are the first two. Because the rest are hiding behind these, at least from their point of view.
That brings us to another point. No need to tell everyone to see your art, sketching the 18 wagons. If you really need, the verbal, but I doubt that they are interested.
This is because art is about his own point of view. You is telling everyone about what I could see this train. You are not teach someone how to make the train. Let's let the designs of engineers.
The art is about life drawing. Draw from your point of view to talk about his life. Draw of life. And most importantly of all … Enjoy life drawing.
